Dispose of waste for any project – easy and convenient. Whether you’re remodeling a home or tackling a clean-out, a temporary dumpster is the perfect solution. Roll off dumpster rental includes delivery, pickup, hauling and disposal. Weight capacity and material allowed varies based on dumpster size.

Helpful Tips

What kind of material? How much? Each dumpster has a similar rectangular shape, so try picturing your waste fitting into a large box. Depending on the material, you may need a specific size. For example, concrete waste is for 10 yard and 20 yard dumpsters.

  • No e-waste, such as tv’s, computers, printers, washers, dryers, and kitchen appliances
  • No hazardous waste, oils, gases or chemicals
  • No old car parts, such as car engines and rubber tires

  • All waste must be kept level with the height of the container.
  • Make sure weight is evenly distributed.
  • Depending on the dumpster size, there is a rear door to make loading easier. Allow at least 6 feet of room between dumpster and buildings.

Keep in mind that dumpsters have tonnage capacities and load limits. There are additional charges to dispose of extremely heavy materials.

If you are disposing of especially heavy materials, make sure you let us know and we can advise you on your specific tonnage limitations.

To help prevent damage to driveways or surfaces, wood can be placed down for extra protection. 3 pieces of 2 x 6 lumber or 2 sheets of plywood will work.

Contact your village to find out if a permit is required for your dumpster and for other instructions. A temporary dumpster on private property rarely requires a permit. A dumpster placed on the street often requires village approval.

What is a Yard?

The word “Yard” in our dumpster sizes refers to one cubic yard. It’s an industry standard used to reference the size of large waste containers. A cubic yard is 3 feet x 3 feet x 3 feet. A simple way to think of a cubic yard is that it’s about the size of a washing machine. A 20 yard dumpster holds approximately 20 washing machines worth of material.
